MY BOOK BEGINNING
A bamboo farmer buries a giant bamboo seed deep in the earth and waters it day after day.-- Bamboo Farmer Wisdom: 101 Inspirational Thoughts by Greg Bell.
This is a little gift-book companion to Bell's excellent Water The Bamboo: Unleashing The Potential Of Teams And Individuals, which I reviewed here.
The Wisdom book did indeed come with a Water the Bamboo wristband. My cats immediately disappeared it.
I'll bet your cats are very wise :)ReplyDelete
I like books like this.
Sounds good! Thanks for sharing...and for hosting.ReplyDelete

Interesting choice. I don't often read that sort of book but do have a similar on sitting by my bed for times I need some inspiration to get me out of it in the morning. Happy reading!ReplyDelete
I love these little books of quotes. Like poetry, they are not something that I read on a regular basis, but they are great as 'coffee table' books, to browse through occasionally.
Most of them also have some great art work, which is every bit as inspirational as the words themselves.
Thanks for sharing and hosting the meme.
That is a very wise quote, good words to live by.ReplyDelete
I've re-joined the Book Beginnings meme after a long absence ....
You made me laugh with your comment about the cats and the wristband, sounds like my house. This sounds like an interesting book.ReplyDelete
