White lines had mysteriously appeared across some of the prints.-- The Luminist by David Rocklin. This is a really wonderful historic novel set in 19th Century Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). As a bonus, it is one of the beautiful editions with French flaps published by Hawthorne Books.
