The National Book Foundation awards annual prizes to American authors in the following categories: Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, and Young People's Literature.

  1. You're doing very well, I've only read 8 of these. The only reason I'm not doing this one is I have so many others going. But I habitually read award winners or nominees so I'll catch up with them eventually.

  2. There's a reason that "compulsive" is part of the description of me as a reader. :)

    Having spent some time with this list yesterday, I am now really in the mood to read some more of the books on it. I might try for a cross-over with books that are also on the Radcliffe list, because that was the list I was going to concentrate on next as I am closest to completeing it.
