This is the second of three quarterly blog assessment posts. The first part addressed the book lists. Part Three will deal with the challenges I joined this year.
My lists of my favorite authors are over in the right-side column. These are now divided into General favorites and Mystery favorites.
NOTE: If you are working on any of these lists, please leave a comment here or on the post for the list (click on the title below or in the right-hand column) and leave a link to any related post. I will add the links on the list post.
So far in 2012, I have read the 12 books by my favorite authors.
- Glittering Images (1987) (reviewed here)
- Home Truths (1999) (reviewed here)
- A Time of Hope (1949) (reviewed here)
- The Pothunters (reviewed here)
- Murder in Belleville (reviewed here)
- High Stakes (1975) (reviewed here)
- Blood Sport (1967)
- Driving Force (1992)
- Shroud for a Nightingale (1971)
- The Black Tower (1975)
I enjoyed this post a lot and I went and checked out your lists of favorite author pages, especially the mystery authors. I like your enthusiasm for Kate Atkinson (not mentioned here of course). She is one of my favorite current mystery authors. I would like to follow your blog (although I check in frequently anyway). Is it best to subscribe by email or join? I am not familiar with all of this.ReplyDelete
TracyK: Glad you like the lists! As for following, any option works. It depends if you like to get an email with every new post or prefer to go to your "reader" and read all the posts there. Personally, I never remember to check my reader, so even when I follow a blog, I end up stopping by to visit when I can and reading them that way.ReplyDelete
You can also follow on facebook using the Networked Blog thing in the right hand column.
I hope that helps. I am greatly confused by that side of blogging myself.
Thanks for the help. I will go with signing up by email subscription.ReplyDelete
