Teaser Tuesday: Just My Type: A Book About Fonts

Most of us are type designers from birth.  We begin scribbling as toddlers, the most freedom we will ever have.
-- Just My Type: A Book About Fonts by Simon Garfield.

This is a fascinating and really entertaining book. I love it.

Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by Should Be Reading, where you can find the official rules for this weekly event.

Interesting teaser. I think I read a book about fonts once but it wasn't that one. Here's mine - http://eugeniaoneal.blogspot.com/

I just finished this and plan on posting my review of it in the next few days...I LOVED it, to say the least. What a fun read!

Eugenia: I wonder how many books about fonts there could be? At least, books for ordinary readers, not typesetters. Thanks for leaving your link.

Julie: Thanks for visiting and leaving your link!

Cath: I look forward to your review. Cool!

That's a tantalizing teaser! Does it just deal with the typed word?
