Only the first book on the list came in the mail, so "Mailbox Monday" is really a stretch. Dodsworth and Changing Places came from Daedalus Books, a new favorite that I stumbled across when I was out exploring NW Portland last week. The rest came from Second Hand Prose, my favorite library bookstore. I don't get to Oregon City very often, but I was there for a court appearance Friday, so took the opportunity to load up. Hardbacks are almost all $2, and in very good condition, so it was easy to do.

You added quite a few books to the stacks last week. Hope you enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love Parnassus on Wheels. Fantastic book. The Haunted Bookshop is the second with the same cast of characters and is also wonderful. I also adore David Lodge so glad to hear you're already enjoying Changing Places, which was my introduction to him.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I read the description of The Art of Disappearing, I added it to my wish list. Sounds really great. Look forward to your review of it.
