Book Beginnings: Care of the Soul by Thomas Moore

The great malady of the twentieth century, implicated in all of our troubles and affecting us individually and socially, is "loss of soul."

I've read a couple of his other  books, but never this first one in his "Soul" series.  This one is certainly making me think.

    The book is THE NINEFOLD HEAVEN by Mingmei Yip, an adventurous historical novel about three witty women in 1930s Shanghai.

    I think I sort of agree, especially if you equate 'soul' with 'passion'. Not enough people are passionate enough about what they do and that just makes for lackluster living! Thanks for hosting, here's my post with 'Atlas Shrugged'.
