Mailbox Monday
Thanks go to Bermudaonion for hosting Mailbox Monday this month, and to The Story Siren for hosting In My Mailbox.
Thanks to a lunchtime walk to Powell's, I have one book to list.
These Granite Islands by Sarah Stonich (this is the debut novel by the author of The Ice Chorus, which I enjoyed and reviewed here)

Wonderful mailbox! Have a great reading week ahead! Here is my Mondays: Mailbox/Where Am I/Musings post.
ReplyDeleteInteresting book-- happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy this one too!
ReplyDeleteThat's great praise to seek out an author's debut after enjoying a subsequent book. I actually have The Ice Chorus but haven't read it yet. I'm seriously considering making 2011 the year of reading my own books and pulling way back on ARCs.
ReplyDeleteThis one sounds good and I love the cover. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteBooksnyc -- I liked Ice Chorus, so I hope here first one is as good.
ReplyDeletegautami tripathy -- Thanks for stopping by.
Cathy -- Thanks! I don't know when I'll get to it, but it looks good.
Bermuda -- Thanks!
Mary -- I have the same plan. I started this year with the goal of getting completely caught up on my guilt list, but there are more books on it now then there were in January.
avisannschild -- The cover is particularly evocative.
Beth -- Thanks. And thanks for stopping by.
